Terms & Conditions

 

Payment.

Electricspare Ltd accept on-line payments using Paypal, who process payment of all major credit or debit cards.  You can be reassured that all transactions are secure. Alternatively, you may mail your order to us and pay by cheque or postal order (UK Sterling Only!). All prices are in British £ Sterling.
Please Note:  All items purchased from Electricspare Ltd, must be paid for in advance.  If paying by cheque, goods will only be dispatched once funds have cleared.

 

Parts and Consumables Delivery Policy.

Wherever possible,  items held in stock are dispatched the same day if ordered and paid for before 3.00PM, (excludes bank holidays and weekends). Items which have to be ordered from our suppliers will usually be sent within 5 working days.  Smaller items and vacuum bags are normally sent by First Class post.  Larger or heavier items are sent by Parcel Post or by Courier. Items for overseas customers can be sent worldwide by Airmail up to a weight limit of 2kg. Orders heavier than this will be sent surface mail. Goods will only be delivered to the address to which either your debit or credit card is registered, or your verified Paypal address, unless prior  arrangements are agreed beforehand.


Electricspare Ltd cannot guarantee delivery times for products delivered direct from the manufacturer due to factors outside of our control but we will keep you advised of any information we have regarding your order.  All goods are subject to availability and we will normally confirm your order and advise on
delivery within two working days.


Returns and Refunds.

Any items which are faulty may be returned for an immediate replacement or refund. If a part is faulty, we will also reimburse your return postage charges. Goods ordered in error may be returned to us in original unused and unopened condition. After 7 days goods ordered in error will be subject to a 50% handling and restocking charge UNLESS the error is on our part, in which case a full refund or replacement will be given. All returns must be posted at your expense. Refunds will not be given until we have received the goods. In all instances, please contact us by telephone or e-mail to arrange your refund or replacement. Should any goods ordered prove faulty or sub-standard, your carriage charges will be refunded. ALL PACKAGING MATERIAL MUST BE RETURNED TO ENABLE ITEM TO BE RE-SOLD!


Cancellation Policy.

Should you wish to cancel your order, you may do so prior to us processing or shipping your order.
Please contact us immediately by telephone to cancel an order. If your goods have already been dispatched, please contact us in writing, by phone, fax or e-mail.  We cannot accept verbal cancellation of any order after dispatch.  Your refund will be given on receipt of the goods by us in original and
unused condition.  After 7 days we reserve the right to impose a restocking charge for any non-faulty goods returned and you will be liable for the cost of returning any such goods.


Our Quality Promise.

We sell original equipment (OE) parts as well as quality pattern parts. The majority of pattern parts are made to specifications which match or exceed those of the OE item. We use these parts ourselves for servicing and repair of appliances and you can be assured that we would never offer you a part that fell below our own high standards,   Electricspare Ltd offer you only the best value for money and only supply merchandise that we ourselves trust.  The use of manufacturers names on this site does not imply that our spares are sourced from these manufacturers.   All Original Equipment items are clearly labelled as such.   Where no such labelling is included with the item description,  a quality pattern part will be supplied.   We cannot be held responsibe for errors or ommisions on product specifications as we take these directly from suppliers information.

Privacy Policy.
The personal information which we ask for is the information required for payment and delivery. Whilst you are visiting our site, the web server  automatically records general information about your visit for example your server address, pages accessed, the type of operating system and browser used.

Important Safety Information.

Parts should only be fitted by a suitably qualified person having technical competence, applicable product knowledge and suitable tools and equipment.

Servicing of electrical appliances MUST be undertaken with the appliance disconnected and/or unplugged from the electricity supply.

Please ensure any necessary Earth Continuity and Insulation Resistance tests are carried out before reconnecting to the electricity supply.

Personal safety precautions must be taken to protect against accidents caused by sharp edges on plastic and metal parts.

After servicing, all appliances must be checked for electrical safety.

Gas appliances should be tested and inspected by a qualified gas engineer (CORGI Registered if in the UK).

Electricspare Ltd will take no responsibility whatsoever for damage (direct or consequential) caused by incorrect fitting of parts or maintenance of electrical or gas appliances.


We comply with the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
